Who are we

The foundation „Gota de Leche“ (English: milk drop) is the legal successor of the institution “Consultorio de Niños de Pecho y Gota de Leche” (English: surgeries for infants and milk drop) in Seville which has been working for children since 1906.

The main intention of our foundation is it to promote actions which recognize and support the children’s rights established of the United Nations in 1989. In doing so, the focus lies on the promotion of the health of minors living in paediatric-social risk.

The foundation mainly works in Andalusia, especially in Seville, but it also maintains projects of development cooperation for the benefit of children in Latin America.

Our work was recognized in 2007 with the award “Andaluna” handed over by “Consejería de Igualdad y Bienestar de la Junta de Andalucía”.
